Women’s Challenges Centre

Under additional review

We would rather hold a higher-risk health resource for more scrutiny than publish it simply because a draft exists.

Why these pages are being held

All eight core areas have completed Eights & Arrows’ internal evidence review. The sections below involve higher-risk clinical or commercial-health questions, so their detailed public resources are being held for additional specialist review. This does not mean the topics are unimportant — it is part of our evidence and safety process.

WC-02 · additional review

Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs)

REDs is a clinical syndrome. We are holding the detailed player, coach and culture resources while we seek appropriate specialist scrutiny of the clinical boundaries and signposting.

WC-04 · additional review

Pregnancy, postnatal return & pregnancy/baby loss

Pregnancy safety, postnatal recovery and pregnancy or baby loss can involve individual clinical circumstances. We are holding the detailed resources for additional maternity/postnatal and safeguarding review.

WC-08B · additional review

Menstrual cycle performance & “cycle syncing”

The evidence is developing and often over-simplified online. We are holding the detailed page for an additional sport-science/evidence review before publication.

WC-08C · additional review

Supplements, hormone products & sports marketing

This area crosses health claims, medicines/products, advertising and anti-doping. We are holding the detailed page for additional specialist and regulatory review.
